The WELL is hosting the first Grassroots Gospel conference Saturday March 6th, 2010.
From the website:
“What if following Jesus means going home?
What if mission means staying where you are?
This is the grassroots gospel: localizing the good news of Jesus Christ.The Grassroots Gospel is a one-day conference on the theme of “digging deep” in Scripture, Gospel and Mission.
It is a gathering for pastors, ministry leaders and servants in the church and community to be equipped to fulfill the call of contextualizing the gospel in local culture.”
Speakers for the conference include: Ray Ortland Jr., Eric Mason, Max Rogland and Jeremy Carr.

Christmas Service Opportunity

This Sunday there is an opportunity to serve the families and children of the WELL by volunteering to help with the Children’s Christmas party. We need help at the game and craft stations.
When: Sunday, 12/20
Time commitment: 1:30p – 3:30p
Actual event time: 2p – 3p
Volunteers need to: Play games, sing songs, and/or make crafts

The New Testament describes gospel community and fellowship (“koinonia”) as ongoing partnership and participation. This implies ownership to the mission, investment in other believers, and stewardship: the shared responsibility in caring for the resources used to serve God’s people.
