From Mission to Movement: Missional Leadership Training Day

Dear friends,
A mission turns into a movement one step at a time. The WELL is at a pivotal point as we move forward. Our Missional Leadership Training Day (Nov. 14th) is going to be a key morning in the process.
For those in leadership: this will be a step in your leadership training. Thank you for your ongoing work- we want to further equip you to continue in it.
For every member of the church: this is vital in your ownership and stewardship of the mission. This will help shape the direction of the church in 2010.
We’re counting on you to be there. Help spread the word in your community groups as well! For those with kids: let me know asap if you’re wanting to come and we can pursue getting childcare covered if you need it.

Moving Day at the WELL

The New Testament describes gospel community and fellowship (“koinonia”) as ongoing partnership and participation. This implies ownership to the mission, investment in other believers, and stewardship: the shared responsibility in caring for the resources used to serve God’s people.

The WELL is in a season of transition. So far, 2009 has been an amazing year. The past few years have been marked with God’s grace and our current season has God’s fingerprints all over it.
